Off piste skiing in La Plagne: a range of lessons with the esf

Accompanied by specialist instructors and high-mountain guides, experienced skiers will have the chance to enjoy a memorable off-piste experience in La Plagne. With legendary runs, untouched slopes and unspoilt mountain terrain, an off-piste adventure awaits you in the heart of the Paradiski ski area. Whether in group off-piste lessons or private lessons, our instructors will get you an unrivalled sense of freedom, whether you’re trying your hand at ski touring, freeriding or snowboarding away from the marked slopes.

Professional off-piste guidance for a safe skiing experience

To go off piste skiing, you must have at least an advanced level in alpine skiing (Class 3) or an expert level in freeskiing. Safety whilst off-piste is essential if you are to fully enjoy the playground that is La Plagne and its surroundings.

As well as being equipped with the appropriate safety gear (probe, avalanche transceiver, shovel), you will be accompanied by an instructor or guide who has completed off-piste training. To ensure you have a memorable experience, they will take care of several things:

  1. Assessing the terrain to find the best off-piste route;
  2. Managing avalanche risk;
  3. Adapting to the weather on a day-to-day basis.
