Handiski in La Plagne: skiing for everyone!
To enable people with disabilities to enjoy the ski area to the full during their stay in the mountains, esf La Plagne provides, every season, equipment (sit ski or trottiski) tailored to their needs. Accompanied by trained instructors, you’ll be able to ski either standing up or seated for a memorable experience in the mountains.

Sit skiing and trottiski: two ways to practice handiski in La Plagne

To ensure personalised and specialised support for each individual, we offer two types of handiski lessons:

  1. Sit skiing: For optimum comfort whilst seated, either in a dual ski steered by an instructor or independently in a snow kart. This type of skiing equipment is suitable for most motor disabilities.
  2. Trottiski: Similar to a snow scooter, this equipment allows you to ski whilst standing safely on the slopes. It helps improve balance and coordination and is particularly suitable for people with hemiplegia, amputees or those with autism.

With adapted lessons, accessible ski lifts and ski areas, in La Plagne you get easy access to the mountains!
